Frequently Asked Questions
Thai massage has been used for treating a range of different health conditions, though for legal reason no specific claims can be made (and of course, each person responds differently). Traditionally though it has been used to help alleviate physical pain, headaches, tension, stress and to increase mobility.
Thai massage uses a blend of pressure points, muscle squeezing and stretches, where as more classical western massage typically uses oil to facilitate a range of techniques including strokes, kneading and tapping. While Thai massage can be quite gentle, it can be extremely firm and deep. And, unlike western massage, Thai massage not only treats the physical body but works on the energetic body too.
Thai, oil and foot massage are all generally safe for most people. Thai and foot massage are not recommended if you are pregnant (due to their use of pressure points), though oil massage should be fine. If you have a cold, flu or other contagious disease, we request you don’t book a treatment so as to avoid spreading to our team or other customers.
Yes. It is a requirement that anyone working here is trained in Thailand and has the proper qualifications.
For traditional Thai massage, you may keep on loose fitting clothes, though you may be asked to remove clothing that is very thick or restricts your range of movement. For oil massage you will of course need to remove clothing that is covering areas that need treatment. You will however always be requested to keep your underwear on.
No. While we understand some massage shops may do this, we certainly do not. Please do not even ask, it only causes embarrassment to the girls (and would cost them their job). All massage is strictly professional.
This depends on the type and duration. Some massage is a little more expensive due to the extra cost of delivering the service (such as oil or herbal compresses). Please see the service page you are interested in for specific pricing.
